Overstreet’s Jewelry Honors Police Officer of the Year

Overstreet’s Jewelry recently presented a commemorative ring to Tom Boyle, Bentonville’s Police Officer of the Year.

Each year department peers choose the Police Officer of the Year.

It is the seventh year that Overstreet’s Jewelry has presented commemorative jewelry to the Bentonville Police Department’s honoree. The ring has the department depicted on the sides and the setting is completed with a colored stone.

Overstreet’s Jewelry, an active member of the community, is one of three Northwest Arkansas American Gem Society members and is located on the Square in Downtown Bentonville.

Larry Jones Joins the Team at Overstreet’s Jewelry

Overstreet's Jewelry of Bentonville proudly announces that Larry Jones has joined the staff. Larry is widely known among jewelry lovers in Northwest Arkansas as one of the most creative and able master jewelers in the state.

The store was named Favorite Jewelry Store by the readers of the Benton County Daily Record for four of the last five years and Don Overstreet was recently named Arkansas Jewelers Association’s 2006 Retail Jeweler of the Year. Overstreet’s Jewelry is located on the north side of the Bentonville Square.

Don Overstreet, Named Arkansas Jewelers Association 2006 Arkansas Retail Jeweler of the Year

Don Overstreet was named Arkansas Jewelers Association’s 2006 Arkansas Retail Jeweler of the Year at the Arkansas Jewelers Association’s Annual Convention held August 12 in Little Rock at the Peabody Hotel. 

Don Overstreet received this award for his outstanding contributions to the jewelry industry, his community and the State of Arkansas. 

Don has served on the Arkansas Jewelers Association Board of Directors and was just elected 07-08 Secretary for the organization. He volunteers countless hours to promote good business practices to the jewelry industry in Arkansas. Don holds certification of Jewelers of America in Sales and Management. He is also an active board member of the Southeast Jewelers Leadership Conference.

The retailers and the traveling sales people for Arkansas took great pride in awarding this honor to him. Don was presented with a Proclamation Letter from Governor Huckabee for his outstanding service to the State of Arkansas.

Overstreet’s Jewelry is one of only three Northwest Arkansas American Gem Society members. Overstreet’s Jewelry, an active member of the community, was also recently named #1 Jewelry Store by the readers of Benton County Daily Record.

Overstreet’s Jewelry is located on the Square in Downtown Bentonville. It has been family owned in the same location since 1948.
